Endlessly inspired by the Cotswolds region - the place we are lucky enough to call home. The area's rich textiles heritage, breathtaking landscape, and the unique colours of its natural stone all deeply influence our work.
All our products are made in The Cotswolds and we strive to keep all aspects of the business close to home. We believe in net zero waste, low carbon foot print and we love empowering local people in the work space, developing & employing local skills, using local materials as far as possible.
We are a female founded company - here's a note from our founder & Creative Director:
Hi, i'm Bridget - I'm a self-confessed healthy food fanatic and a firm believer in the philosophy that food and lifestyle are life's true medicines. You'll find me walking daily in the countryside, sifting through antiques at vintage fairs, and scouring local farm shops and food markets. I’m a devoted healthy cook for my family, yoga enthusiast, lover of music, fashion and interiors, and passionate about making stuff.
Before settling here - by way of various fashion houses in Milan, Zurich, Munich, Los Angeles, Amsterdam and Paris - I also lived for fourteen years in Biarritz, Pays Basque, south west France, where the harmony between gastronomy, craftsmanship and textiles planted a seed for my creative concept upon moving back to the UK.
I'm a fashion, footwear and accessory designer, and for the last 8 years i've also been designing interiors too. I’ve worked for twenty-five years in the luxury goods industry and I’ve designed and styled for various luxury brands & celebrities. However meeting my lovely husband and starting a family was a fortunate and truly transformative experience, and it made me rethink my goals and priorities leading to the creation of Cotswolds Cloth.
This new venture allows me to seamlessly weave together my love for family life, country living, and slow textiles into a way of life that feels wonderfully balanced. I feel incredibly lucky to have found this harmony in such a beautiful place.
